Digital Photo Interpreter is a software for processing digital photos taken in raw format. It is designed to maintain continuity between the processes and aesthetic tasks of analog and digital photography.
Originally conceived as a counterpart to Raw Photo Processor for Windows OS, the implementation and user interface have some specific features. The order of execution and precision of calculations currently do not allow for real-time or minimal-delay “development” processing, so the converter inherits an offline processing mode from its predecessor.
Key features of the converter:
- Per-channel white balance correction
- Two auto white balance algorithms
- Exposure compensation with highlight compression
- Photometrically accurate contrast control
- Display of tone curve in logarithmic and linear scale
- Saturation control in UpLab color space
- LUT tables support (HaldCLUT/3DLUT/Abstract/Input/UpLab)
- VCD/LMMSE demosaicing
- Export to sRGB/ProPhotoRGB 16-bit TIFF, sRGB JPEG
- Batch export
- Monitor profile support.
